  • My go to weekly podcast navigating raising a child with a rare disorder.

This podcast is one I look forward to weekly.

Having different perspectives from the three lovely hosts is probably my favorite part.

The guests that they interview are outstanding but I usually get the most out of the “ask us anything” episodes.

I find myself nodding and feeling SO validated when I hear the reactions and solutions from these three brave moms!

  • My Safe Space!

This podcast is such a gift. Even on the days where it feels like nobody and no-one could understand what my caregiving life is like or I feel at my wits end, I know I can put on an episode of Brave Together and immediately feel like it’ll all be alright somehow. I learn, I smile, I cry, I feel seen. Thank you for being my safe space.

  • Most Relatable and Informative Show I’ve Found!

Truly. Every single episode I’ve listened to has brought such value, head nodding, and the desire to be in the middle of the convo with these ladies and their guests! There are so many autism/caregiving/special needs podcasts out there(thank goodness), but I have yet to find one that tops the content they bring to the table each and every time. Engaging, informative, genuine, and RELEVANT! Thank you!!!

  • Where have you been?

I cannot believe I am just now finding this podcast. There is so much truth, so much vulnerability in stories and I feel like I can finally relate to someone else’s world! I have been doing this for 7 years and I wish I would’ve found this podcast sooner.

  • Connection and support

This podcast is saving my life. For a parent of a special needs child I have come here to listen to other parents tell their story. I learn so much from them and feel connected in a world where I often feel unseen. I also love the support groups that they are creating across the world. I highly recommend checking their website for more info.

ASK US ANYTHING: How Do I Stay Okay When My Child is Not
Q: How do we be able to be in our own bodies and our own feelings, organically, transparently, vulnerably with ourselves in a way that we are able to not be taken out by the times and the moments and the situations where our kiddos are just not okay?
We need to learn to sit in those feelings of sadness, grief, shame, embarrassment, anger, but work on not staying there. Recognizing that we are separate from our children allows us to maintain our own emotional well-being even when they are struggling.
