I listen to a lot of podcasts for writers and this is one of the best. Most of the others focus either on the craft of writing or on the business aspects but this one is a healthy mixture of both. There is plenty of usable wisdom but little blatant advice. It manages to be extremely inspiring without being “inspirational”.
Very nicely pieced together. Well edited and fantastically hosted. Very interesting themes. The right guests throughout the series. Recommended to anyone who is interested in self-publishing. Loved it.
It's good! I'm not really interested in publishing right now, but this podcast can be pretty insightful for storytellers in general. Definitely worth a listen if you have any interest in self-publishing.
The content seems well thought out and engaging. But I’m turned off by the incessant background music. I liken it to the bass playing loudly from the car next to me at a stoplight. All the windows are rolled up but my car still quakes with every boom, boom, boom. The only thing I can do is drive on or, in this case, look for another podcast.
I stumbled upon this podcast while I was looking into the process of self publishing my first book and it has been eye opening. Thanks so much for all the advice and hope.
