I am erasing my original review that I sent in about a year ago, to say here that the people that don’t like your Bible passages are only thinking of themselves. I am an atheist, and it has never bothered me once that you open with a Bible passage. To me, it’s no different than quoting a poet, historical figure or writer. Keep up the great entertainment. People need to quit making it all about themselves. The world is made up of diverse beliefs interests, and preferences.

I generally like a lot of the content. But it’s unnecessary how much they insert Christianity. I understand their position that their faith is more tied to their identity than backpacking. But this is after all a backpacking podcast rather than a religious one. Starting every episode with a bible verse isn’t something I’d expect from this kind of content and feel like it alienates much of their audience.
