Great stuff! But please mix the podcast louder, it’s very quiet compared to most other shows and I need to turn the volume all the way up to hear it through headphones
Not Your Average Gear Hype
At its core, the Backpacking Light Podcast is a refreshing blend of technical insight, philosophical depth, and real-world testing. Episodes cover a wide range... from ultralight first-aid kit strategies, metabolic cost of carrying a pack, to shelter fabric science, bivy camping, and the psychological dynamics of minimalism under stress. Jordan consistently layers each topic with applied physiology, cognitive science, materials engineering, and even Stoic philosophy.

My favorite episodes are the ones about business management. As a director of a small service oriented non-profit those particular episodes are surprisingly useful and relevant to my own experience, an... more
