  • Ok but seriously flawed

This series was OK until it got to the homophobia episode. That episode really exposed the lack of thought and understanding these hosts have for people who have opposing views. They strawman every argument, and really did damage to their side. I wanted to give this podcast, an honest shot, and I did, as a deconstructing person of a different faith. However, I can’t listen to people who don’t truly understand their oppositions point of view.

  • 9 minutes in and it's ✨ fascism ✨

I was so excited to listen to this pod after seeing a tiktok, and it lasted 9 minutes and 48 seconds. Imagine having a blank canvas to have a dialogue on how to make the world a better place, and the first thing you come up with is "everybody should be forced to join the military". Yikes. There's no way out, America has had its citizens in its fascist grip since the beginning, and convinced them they are free. The constant rhetoric of having to fight an enemy, the war machine that has destroyed ... more

Q: How do you ensure safety and consent in such intimate work, especially when discussing BDSM and power dynamics?

Reclaiming the Forbidden: Sex, Power, and the Life Force Religion Suppressed
Q: Okay, and what drew you to shift from traditional religious life to becoming a dominatrix and intimacy coach?
Her journey started with deep curiosity about sensuality and body, followed by significant doubt and oppression from Mormon culture. She describes a pivotal moment of crisis and realization that led to a reclamation of desire, energy, and pleasure, ultimately shaping a career built on consent, safety, and helping others feel alive.
Rainn Wilson – Soul Boom

The workbook was created in response to audiences wanting to put spiritual ideas into practice, inspired by earlier books that helped with creativity and spiritual ideation.

Q: How can you even trust rationality when you look at that?
I would say the best and the most difficult problem is this mind stuff.
