As a photographer of rural life in France and Britain, I have found these podcasts to be extremely authentic in taking us behind the scenes of what making cheese is all about.
The enthousiasme is palpable amongst these professional cheese makers. It’s the next best thing to actually being with them on the terrain.
Really enjoying listening to these episodes and learning from affineurs and makers. Betty’s episode was one of my favorites - I connected with what she said about being a voice for the cheese makers. Can’t wait for more episodes! 🐄🧀
You might think people talking about cheese and travel is a pale substitute for what Cheese Journeys is all about, but honestly, these podcasts are an excellent way to reinforce and deepen the CJ experience itself. To the extent that it is intended as a sales pitch for their work, it is a marvelous success. I’ve gone to the UK and Northern Italy Anna’s way, and just hearing her voice and her so very cogent explanations of what she has built a business to accomplish is worth a listen. You can ALM... more
