  • rainbow capitalism

I had high hopes for this because I love women’s sports, gay people, and pretty much any convo around that intersection, but it’s gotten harder to listen as Sue and Megan go further and further in the direction of neoliberal feminism and rainbow capitalism. Major red flags include Megan’s frequent defenses of owners in labor disputes and what feels like the hosts’ perpetual humble bragging about their immense wealth. It’s gross. I respect for hosts’ past social justice work (not to mention their... more

  • Great episode

I was a soccer and Rapinoe fan first and have now joined the wnba fandom and feel like a idiot for missing out for so long. I love this show. You are a good balance of each other. Just want to say the most recent episode with Sam and Kristie was great and very entertaining. I am also a women’s game fan and have 2 of my favorite podcasts merge together was great. Well done ladies. Keep up the good work!

  • Video-only Content, ugh

I love the show, but the content that requires watching YouTube is ridiculous and increasingly more frequent. The couple’s TikTok challenge is the latest example. I listen to podcasts while I’m working or driving. No way to watch a video and no chance I’m going to look it up later. The TikTok challenge was minutes of dead air. At least say the name you’re pointing to out loud. It felt designed to force listeners to go to YouTube, which for me is NEVER happening. Podcasts are supposed to be audit... more

  • Haters

Yes people watch women’s sports and so if you are saying that people don’t watch women sports you are A) wrong B) just a hater and jealous and that’s coming from a 12 year old

  • Good content, wish it was more timely

I like the podcast, but they have a 2-3+ day turn around from recording to posting which can feel pretty out of touch with how fast things are changing during playoffs, etc. Personally I’d rather the editing be less polished and hear them talking about more recent developments.
