I’m not sure that describing this all as class struggle is helpful since it’s an expression that needlessly puts some people off. What these podcasts show is that the vast majority of us, all but the richest and most elite, have only through generations of protest and illegal activity gained the rights and freedoms that most of us today foolishly, or through ignorance, take for granted. This podcast is genuinely refreshing and stimulating. We live in a time when the right wants to impose simplistic historical narratives on us. So many people have been saying we need a left wing narrative, we need to discuss our traditions etc. Well this is a great step towards those things. It was well presented and really interesting.
