I love how the host decides to read with us again the beginning of Proust after has read him for 16 years. The intimacy that he builds with Marcel is so fitting for such an intimate book as “In search of lost time.”
I haven’t read Proust, but I’ve always been curious about his work. This podcast is a great way to dip my toes in and discover some of the most well known and striking passages from In Search of Lost Time.
Thoughtfully read in excellent translation, with very brief and helpful discussion. I am enjoying these immensely as a companion to reading the first book, Swann’s Way. Strong recommendation as a delightful way to start with Proust.
