  • Great double-act for great comic

This is a fabulous podcast about a fabulous comic book series. The hosts, Gita and Alex, have wonderful chemistry and are a double-act I could happily listen to as they talk about anything. Especially as they are talking about something they both so clearly enjoy, are excited to discuss, and about which they are knowledgeable without being too pedantic. They even manage to balance their enthusiasm with balance to call the material out for its flaws. The podcast feels like hanging out with tw... more

  • Now this is PODCASTING!

One of the most enthralling comics focused podcasts I've ever listened to. 52 Pickup has not only created a powerful need in me to start reading DC comics again but it has also taught me so much about the actual structure and form of comics and why it is such a powerful medium to tell stories. I appreciate comics more now than when I started listening and have become a better comic reader because of what I learned from this show.

  • Please don’t yell at me

Grant Morrison is only human. Whenever you’re upset with their shortcomings or blind spots, please try to use their surname. When you’re excited about a part of their work you can keep just yelling “Grant’s so good!” or stuff like that. That would be fine.
