    According to CBC news Toronto Police Services has spent $337,000 of taxpayer money on this podcast as of February 2023. A podcast that serves only to pat themselves on the back.

    I found a link for this podcast under a Toronto Police Services missing persons report for a person in my neighborhood. To then be linked to a podcast labelled “True Crime” (yes, the police did indeed label their own comms podcast “True Crime”.)     As a regular citizen living and working in TO, I was thrilled to hear about this podcast. After listening to a few episodes, I was impressed with the nuanced questions from the interviewers and the different types of police officers they engaged with.
