絵本は、お話と絵が相互に組み合わさってその世界観を作り上げていくものだ…と、感じさせる一冊。幼い頃の息子が夢中になり、それを見てうちの子もしかして天才では？！と思った親バカエピソードあり。子どもが異世界に迷い込む、楽しくて、でも、ほんのり怖い…ラストはちゃーんと元の世界に戻ることで子どもは安心できます。
