Excellent podcast! The combination of economics and political science make this show outstanding! It will give you a firm grasp on politics, the economy, and the web that ties it all together.
This is my favorite podcast to get educated on economics and politics effects on the economy!
I enjoy the podcast although it can be one sided. A broad discussion with knowledgeable perspectives that challenge the economic ideas and recognize not all things can be distilled to dollars and cents.
Ep426 did me in, I’ll miss the show.
if only more people would take the time to really understand the hot issues, we would be less devisive and successful as a country! spread the word!

Economics and political science are the core lenses through which current events are analyzed, with a practical, data-informed approach that often challenges conventional wisdom. Episodes frequently explore policy impacts, government interventions, and market incentives, while balancing accessible explanations with clear humor. A notable strength is the duo's ability to ground complex ideas in real-world examples, often featuring guests who bring depth in health care, history, or political economy. This combination tends to attract educated, policy-minded listeners who appreciate rigorous argumentation delivered with wit and civility, and who value explanations that connect everyday outcomes to broader economic principles.
