I wanted to love this one. The subjects are interesting and for the 4 or 5 episodes I listened to, the questions were all very interesting. These are not questions I generally already know the answers to, so I'm intrigued.
Unfortunately, the production values are low. The delivery is dry, and seems to be being read rather than spontaneously explained. Worse, the audio quality is pretty bad, and I have to turn it up uncomfortably loud in order to make out the words.
I wish this podcast would re-activate! I just discovered it and love it. Travis, please come back.
Very well researched and entertaining. Love the way Travis presents his material and breaks down his process. I always come away feeling like I’ve grown after each episode.
A great combination of quite interesting and history
Really like it. Had seen the podcast through an account on Twitter I follow and was looking for new history podcasts to subscribe to. I have been pleasantly surprised at how detailed the podcast is, despite being under 30 minutes. Now has become one of the podcasts I look forward to.
