As a Chelsea supporter (UTC) I forgive you both strategizing our downfall for majority of your Sept30 podcast because I’m a huge fan of this pod. You’re funny, offer great analysis and aside from your understandable Leicester bias maintain objectivity when discussing other teams. That’s refreshing in a landscape of Arsenal-biased pods, pundits & journos. Keep up the great work!

  • Love this podcast

From a fellow Leicester City women fan I love to listen to a podcast that doesn’t always seem to be negative towards Leicester. I’m a fairly new “football” fan and have followed Leicester City women for the last 2 seasons and whenever I listened to other women’s football podcasts the amount of negativity towards Leicester was making me a bit sad. Nice to hear that there are others out there who are Leicester fans. Go foxes 🦊💙

Technically, yes; intellectually, no | WSL GW8 Recap & Listener Questions
Q: Who will come up from WSL2 this season?
Charlton, Blues, and Bristol are the frontrunners for automatic promotion, with Blues having a recent strong performance, while other teams invest heavily but may need time to click; the battle remains open and subject to change.
Technically, yes; intellectually, no | WSL GW8 Recap & Listener Questions
Q: What are your thoughts on the World Cup qualifying format, especially given England or Spain could face playoffs?
The format is interesting but reveals England's struggles outside tournaments; top teams (Sweden, Germany, France) look strong, but banana skins exist for several, making the path to qualification complex and competitive.
Technically, yes; intellectually, no | WSL GW8 Recap & Listener Questions
Q: Is VAR feasible in the WSL?
Charli argues that while VAR could be technically implemented at smaller clubs' venues, the real hurdle is the ongoing quality and consistency of officiating, which should be addressed as a priority before or alongside any VAR rollout; in other words, fix the core officiating issues first, then consider technology.
