  • Amazing resource for parents and players

Ashley’s podcasts are an amazing resource for parents and players. I’ve shared several links with parents on my daughter’s 10U team. I offered to create a training resource for my husband (head coach) with resources, drills to do outside of practice, etc. and it includes several links to When the Cleats Come Off. So many of the episodes are accessible to younger players thanks to her experience coaching youth softball players. Love!!!

  • Essential softball tool for young athletes!

Ashley’s love and enthusiasm for the game and youth athletes shines through in every single episode!!! So much wisdom, experience and knowledge being passed down to aspiring softball players (and parents) ! My daughter and I have been listening for years (on the long car rides to and from softball games/practices) and I believe this podcast has helped her grow the mental side of her game along with expanding her love and appreciation for the sport she dedicates so much of her time to! • Episode 41 is a masterpiece

As a Dad to a pitcher with D1 aspirations it was great to hear Monica’s recommendation for the amount of pitching to put in to get better. She has a lot more credibility than a Dad.

  • My day is better when I get the new episode notification!

As a dad of a high school and travel ball player, I enjoy listening to the podcasts. I have been able to gain so much knowledge and understanding about the game of softball. I jokingly tell my daughter’s travel team (where I am an assistant coach and “Dugout Dad”) that I have never played one pitch of fast pitch softball, but this podcast has allowed me to put myself into their shoes and better understand their feelings about the game. It has helped me to be a better dad and coach. Every episode... more
