I think they have interesting things to say. But they use words that they think makes them sound smart. They’re not that smart, actually.
Enjoying the show - hope a “revival” is in the works!

I saw King Kong last year when I visited NYC. It was the very first show that I saw on Broadway and it was hilariously bad, and I got the urge to relive it. This podcast brought back the memories! The laser beams! The triangle ship! THE PUPPET!!!!!! Total trash! Fun podcast!
Had a friend recommend this podcast and I LOVE IT! Great if you want to do a bit of pre show study or even just to top up your theatre knowledge!

This podcast has moved up to one of my “must listen now the minute that I see it update” podcasts. The hosts are charming, knowledgeable, and fun to listen to. I always learn something, even if I always don’t agree. Great work, and everyone should listen. Cuz I’m also one of those kids.
As a long-time musical theater enthusiast, it is an absolute pleasure to listen to Chelsey and Tara discuss the nuances of this genre. I feel like a “fly on the wall” at a cocktail evening where the topic of discussion is tailored to what I find most interesting! The show is professional and well produced, and I will happily admit to having binge-listened to the first four episodes in one night (though I didn’t mix ALL the cocktails). Really looking forward to listening to more of this smart, in... more
This podcast is funny, informative, and charming. The hosts provide context and analysis from their perspectives as both fans and performers, and I always learn something from each episode. Highly recommended, especially for fans of stage musicals.
I’m so excited about the first few episodes of this podcast. It’s great to hear people talking about musicals, and I’m especially happy to here THESE people talk about musicals — the hosts are warm, friendly and charming. A great listen!
