This podcast is exceptional and feels like taking to a long lost, theatre obsessed best friend. Matt is as equally charming as a host as he is a man (learned via instagram stock). His wealth of theatre knowledge is only matched by my own (high praise). In short, if you like musical theater this is the ultimate listen - enjoy!
Are there tangents? Sure. Just like when you’re talking to friends. Will you sometimes disagree with points made? SURE! Just like when you’re talking to friends!

Matt you have such a weird way of making every theater nerd feel like they have a friend. You are someone who I can say I greatly respect and admire. You don’t really know me, and really know you, but I wanna say thank you. I’m sorry this is so long.
There is a new “ hardest working man in show business “ and his name is Matt Kopik. Fun entertaining informative

That familiarity gave me an unexpected confidence as I played the songs. Broadway Breakdown is both funny ... more
