  • Solid Movie Podcast

    I love movie podcasts, and this one is fun because it’s two guys NOT in the industry (unlike Blank Check or How Did This Get Made). They can get pretty far off topic sometimes, but it’s always obvious how much they genuinely love movies, and that passion is infectious. Plus, their perspective of well informed “normal” people (as opposed to critics, actors, etc.) hits a nice niche that I imagine is relatable to most of the people listening to film podcasts.     I generally like this podcast, and I think they’ve grown a lot... but I just listened to a few minutes of the Beetlejuice episode and am surprised how rude the ginger is to the guest. Again, I’m thinking some growth has taken place since it was recorded back in summer 2019. But it’s disappointing to hear, since I like the movie Beetlejuice and would’ve enjoyed hearing an episode about it. But I won’t listen to the rest of that; I’m barely 12 minutes in.
