Such a great podcast that gives a voice to real survivors. They’re candid about what happened to them, but, most importantly, they share how they’ve been able to heal.
Also, it takes great listening skills to be an effective host and Emily is so great at hosting. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been turned off by a host because they lack listening skills. So excited she’s a part of this podcast!
Thank you for starting this podcast! I am a podcast junkie & host my own & I had been looking for a good podcast dedicated to survivors. This is sooo needed & will make a difference in many lives. Thank you, again. It means the world to me. Super excited for season 2🖤
Before you’re hanging on these gals word be sure to read the disclaimer. Some of these stories are just that, stories. Turning to fiction for healing may not be the best route, not to mention the acceptance of unhealthy coping practices. Please seek real professional help, please protect each other, please promote honesty.
This is hands down the most powerful podcast I have listened to. Emily is a warrior for survivors and the guests are incredible and transparent. I love the transparency and rawness of this show, I find myself belly laughing and crying around ever turn of each episode. The Q&A episode was so awesome. Thank you for this amazing safe space and allowing survivors to share their stories!
I haven’t found many podcasts that contain such honest, brave interviews that are so real and authentic. The survivors on these shows share a lot about their stories and what they have been through, and what they have felt- They share a lot of wisdom too. I recommend giving it a listen.
