I hope it's changed. But I don't have any real contact with a lot of women from the Naval Academy today.

Q: What are your thoughts on how things have changed since you attended the Naval Academy?
Burris believes that there has been significant progress for women at the Academy, but still sees opportunities for improvement in medical support and in addressing gender biases in military standards.
