  • Just one complaint

I love this podcast, so I’m still leaving 5 stars with my grievance. The boys should have done a deep dive on the Tim Kennedy saga before talking about it. The information is out there, and easy to find. TK lied about way more than a bronze w/ V device. He lied about every single detail of his deployments, schools, and even his time as an EMT, then later a firefighter, and lied about how he got fired from the FD. Tim Kennedy is a chronic liar, and a dirt bag. Go watch the episodes from the Antih... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 325 - Calm Under Detonation
Q: What is the FBI Academy experience like, and how does training prepare agents for field work?
The FBI Academy at Quantico is a rigorous, top-tier program with a mix of character, physical, and technical training. Trainees come from diverse backgrounds, and ongoing education continues after graduation through updates to laws and techniques; agents are consistently trained to handle evolving threats and must manage large caseloads while remaining capable under pressure.
Ep 323 - Wretched Roads and Straight Answers
Q: What is your best advice for someone considering Special Forces?
Go for the pipeline; you can start infantry, go airborne, and head straight to selection without waiting years if you're truly committed.
Ep 319 - Clay Novak Pt 2
Q: What is the relationship between the books in the series and Novak's own life?
The main character and supporting cast are drawn from people Novak knew; the Chicago setting for book two and the DC setting for book three mirror his own experiences and locations, while time gaps between books link the arcs.
Ep 319 - Clay Novak Pt 2
Q: How did the decision to publish come about if you were writing for yourself at first?
The decision emerged after a friend encouraged him that a 300-page manuscript deserved a broader audience; he explored hybrid publishing, tried a smaller press, and eventually found a publisher that aligned with his vision, enabling rapid publication of sequels.
Ep 316 - War is my Business
Q: What have you done that's gotten you through it to get to this point?
Matthew mentions that writing the book was cathartic and helped him process his experiences. He also emphasized finding solace through faith and returning to God.
