Not local and it shows. Spells Pitt with one p, pronounces names wrong, support local shows instead.
Decent brief daily overview podcast, but the host isn’t from/doesn’t live in Pittsburgh. If a tiny selection of headlines are being highlighted, it seems important that the person making those decisions have the context of living in the city.
Good idea and put together well, but I can’t listen when you pronounce the locations incorrectly! I want to listen to a true Pittsburgher!
Super helpful, informative podcast start! I appreciate the headlines have “learn more” resources. Thanks Matt!

A concise weekday morning newscast focused on Pittsburgh-area headlines, governance, public safety, transportation, and local culture. Episodes synthesize stories from across local outlets into 3–4 minute briefings, often highlighting budget talks, police activity, school updates, and community reactions, with practical context and resources for deeper reading. A notable pattern is the emphasis on civic processes and city branding, plus occasional transitions or milestones in the show's format, making it useful for listeners who want a quick, credible local briefing and for sponsors aiming to reach engaged Pittsburgh readers and commuters.
