  • Rage-bait

Listened to these guys for 11 years before finally realizing it’s strategic rage-bait designed to pad their pockets and keep you continually angry. Beware.

Switched to the Love Worth Finding and Dr. Charles Stanley sermon podcasts and my soul has been restored after the rot of this show.

  • Fair and balanced

You will hear both sides of world events, politics and current events. They call out republics and democrats. And have very informative guests. A&G do not tell you what to think. They just give you the info straight. And they are quite funny I LOL often.

  • From bad to worst

Despicably dishonest coverage on both the Epstein files as well as the Iran war. If you are looking for the truth, keep moving. You will not find it here.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Biggest, Spiciest Cases of the Term!!!
Q: Is there any way out of this cycle where Congress fails to act and the president ends up with overreach or underreach depending on who is in power?
The hosts suggest that real accountability comes from the people demanding more of their representatives and from holding them to the Constitution, implying that informed public pressure is essential for reform.
Our Most Functional Branch
Q: Why is issue polling often less informative than candidate polling, and how does that affect our understanding of policy or politics?
She notes that issue polling suffers from binary framing, limited response options, and questions that don't capture trade-offs, making it less predictive than candidate polling which has a clear electoral pressure backstop.
Our Most Functional Branch
Q: First things first, though, tell us about Last Branch Standing.
Isgur explains that the book argues the Supreme Court is our most functional branch but stresses that it's not the final word; Congress and the American people still shape outcomes through amendment, legislation, and political processes.
Why Such Small Arms?
Q: What changed to push issues to the Supreme Court rather than Congress?
Isgur notes changes over a century including the consolidation of executive power, the growth of independent agencies, and the strategic use of executive orders, which reduced legislative throughput and increased the Court's centrality in policy outcomes.
Why Such Small Arms?
Q: First things first though, tell us about Last Branch Standing.
Sarah Isgur explains that the book argues the Supreme Court is the most functional branch but does not have the final word in political fights; it ultimately depends on the American people and Congress to amend or respond to Court decisions when needed.
