  • Bottom of the Barrel Geezer Teaser Rage Bait

I unfortunately stumbled across the live show and was immediately struck by how this show is the lowest rung on the rage bait media ladder. It feels like the audio equivalent of a rage room for the elderly as its host plays on their fears, rage and inability to understand an ever-changing world.

One of the segments I had the misfortune to listen to was about crime stats presented by a city politician. The host and a very passionate if not slightly unhinged guest talked about how this politicia... more

  • Absolutely determinative quite frankly

John and Randy are the best, not a joke. We aren’t talking about no wobbly knees allies. These guys are the real deal. Period. Full stop. Huh. Eh. Huh. Absolutely absolutely one of the best shows to listen to. They’re so hot they could melt a basketball court. They’re so smart they know is the cashier is dummy. John’s a fan of pippy long stocking Madonna or something and Randy loves Santa Fe and wine. The best 3 hours of the day followed by Randy’s show at 5. Day one listener from the Randy wang... more

  • Spot on!

John and Randy keep us informed on California news and politics. They bring in great guest speakers that share their knowledge of their particular experiences and expertise. John keeps us laughing at the right times and serious at the right times. I find myself laughing in my car and much more in tune with the daily news of today.

This is the only way to listen to johns show. I used to listen to the lve broadcast however the show seems better as a podcast as the host seems to be on vacation more then he is on air. His cohost randy is a great in his own way but his role as #2 makes the show great and not so good when he is solo. Basically when john is there i listen. When he isnt i go “on vacation” too.

Michael Gates On Rob Bonta's Corruption
Q: Can you speak to the claim that Rob Bonta rewrote the Prop 39 ballot title to discourage voters?

Seneca Scott On The New Sheng Thao Allegations

Julie Watts Investigates Gavin Newsom's Diaper Contract
Q: What was the relationship between Jennifer Siebel Newsom and the First Partners Project, and how does that relate to the diaper contract reporting?
Julie Watts explains that Baby to Baby is a reputable nonprofit and that any suggested link between the Newsoms and the contracting process is not a proven direct conflict; the reporting focuses on the procurement process and whether there was transparency or a competitive bid, rather than alleging personal gain by the Newsoms.
Susan Crabtree On Gavin Newsom's Investigations
Q: What do you make of Gavin Newsom's recent activity in going at it with long-time allies because of the homeless issue?
Crabtree explains that Newsom is navigating a fragile political moment, balancing budget pressures, the need to address homelessness, and relationships with unions, while also considering the optics of leading a presidential bid.
State Senator Ben Allen Is Running For Insurance Comissioner
Q: Why should you be the next insurance commissioner for California?
Allen highlights his cross‑aisle collaboration with Democrats and Republicans, his experience responding to wildfire losses, and his push for consumer protections and reforms that would raise standards and accountability in the insurance market.
