With the recent hit movie out + a recent trip to Hawaii to inspire me, I’ve started watching all of The King’s movies. Not in order and not complete yet, but as I started to do this, I wondered if there was a podcast that had more info and opinions on these flix. I found our podcast and I LOVE IT. I really enjoy listening to this podcast, great hosts with sharp, witty insights into Elvis’ movies. Even though I’m an EP fan, there are a spate of Elvis movies I haven’t seen. Maybe this is because Elvis was embarrassed by them, or maybe a lot of them from the 60s were just filler, churned out in a couple of weeks (Paradise Hawaiian Style is one such movie, wrapped in record time around the time Elvis met the Beatles. Sorry for any spoilers guys. Not one I’ve seen, so I can’t really dismiss it... more

Long time Elvis fan - my interested was reenergized by the new Elvis movie. Love this podcast it’s funny and charming and you can see a love and respect for Elvis. My only concern is the lack of basic knowledge about Elvis biography (historical dates and personal life) and also vintage movie trivia. That Touch of Mink you mentioned in latest movie is very famous Cary Grant / Doris Day movie. I expect more knowledge of movie trivia of the era. Other then that - love it. Love the Fast & Furious ... more
