  • Truly worth listening to

It’s fantastic how so many episodes can differ so much (in a positive way), contain all-new information and cover such wide variety of topics - and still be about one specific artist. I love listening to the TCB-Cast and am constantly in awe of the quality and ongoing improvements of the format.

TCBCast 379: "Don't Be Cruel" and Otis Blackwell, Part 2
Q: What do you think of Elvis having the co-writing credit for Don't Be Cruel, Olivia?

TCBCast 379: "Don't Be Cruel" and Otis Blackwell, Part 2
Q: What do you think of the 1968 version? I know we mentioned it earlier and you obviously prefer the 50s version live better than 68.
There's nothing wrong with the 68 version, but he doesn't have that same 50s playfulness because he's not a young man anymore.
TCBCast 379: "Don't Be Cruel" and Otis Blackwell, Part 2
Q: What do you think of the final performance on the Ed Sullivan show, Olivia?
The final's definitely the best. He definitely grows in confidence as he's practiced it now a number of times live.
