I really loved listening to the Natasha Walter interview. However, I didn’t know any of the books she mentioned, and I would really like to read some of them, particularly the ones about being a white middle-class feminist working in a refugee organisation. The only ones listed at the end of the podcast are her own. I think it assumes that the listener will have read everything she has. We haven’t!
I loved listening to these conversations - so dynamic, wide-ranging and fascinating. They start out discussing writers’ favourite books but it branches into a beautiful view of a life lived in feminism, ideas, work, news and relationships. Relevant and kind of timeless too. Would definitely recommend!
