  • The Glasses

I wish to say that the glasses you refer to are life line for people who are with chronic sight change . We use them to help with reading and describe our environment so we can navigate around

It is important to understand the positive life saving aspect of the technique

But I understand the abusive mature that you refer too Maybe their needs to be rethink as to who legitimately needs them to ensure their safety

Once again TNIB promote these for us who need them

  • Longer would be even better

I really enjoy the chemistry between Rob and Katie on this show. Always interesting topics. My only request would be to make it slightly longer. Seems they could talk about more on a topic if they had 5-10 more minutes.

Q: Gavin, top tip?
Contribute as much as you can, as early as you can, and seek to understand how your contributions interact with tax relief and employer matches, because small, consistent steps compound into meaningful retirement income.

Q: Claer, top tip, what's your top tip?
Track down all your pension pots, consolidate them if possible, and start thinking about retirement now, even if the timeline feels distant, because awareness and planning can make a big difference.

Q: What could Canada realistically do to respond if US demands continue to shift?
Canada could push for allied diplomacy, diversify trade away from contentious sectors, and leverage international agreements to press back against exploitative terms, while maintaining the core goal of keeping the Canada-US relationship functional and economically integrated.

Q: Alan, how common is it for trade talks to break down like this?
Historically, breakdowns happen when negotiations reach an unbridgeable gap, often followed by attempts to repackage deals or retreat to earlier frameworks. In this case, the combination of domestic political pressures, symbolic concessions, and the fear of harming domestic industries created a perfect storm that made a quick return unlikely.

Q: So Rob, when did you first hear of Jesse Livermore?
Rob explains how Livermore's life and Reminiscences shaped his understanding of market dynamics and the psychology of big bets.
