Such an interesting set of topics but they make it so hard to keep listening. Tett is just not good at interviewing or presenting and Wigglesworth for all his amazing FTA articles, just can’t weave a spoken narrative or ask good questions. They are trying to copy OddLots but they lack the chemistry and the interview skills. Very disappointing. You might as well have Siri read an article.
Oh dear, the presenters treat listeners like morons. Great subject spoiled by presenters trying to make it ‘accessible’. I gave up rather quickly.
Good show, but retreads much of Alphaville’s more on-depth reportage. If you were to drink everyone Tett name drops her role at King’s Cambridge you would get sclerosis of the liver within the first few episodes.
Thank you for this podcast. I’m learning some very interesting history. Well done!
Shocked to read that this podcast is ending. As others have said, it has been great. Very sorry and will miss it
