The program on Fidelity was interesting. Unfortunately, the presenters did not discuss how Fidelity is likely to address the problems and challenges of selling private equity assets to retail investors and 401k account holders. In almost 30 minutes of discussion about OpenAI no one discussed the obvious. For OpenAI to massively grow revenue they have to stay in the lead. Anthropic, Google, xAI, and even Deepseek will have something to say about that. OpenAIs lead has dwindled, the gap between commercial and freely available AI models has closed, and many competitors have healthy cash flow already.
