Just couldn’t do it. Made it through a handful of episodes. Basically every character, place, and item (and of course there are a lot) is pronounced wrong despite a handy pronunciation guide in every book. Siuan = Sue Ann?? Nynaeve = Nuhnave?? Lan is basically the only name they can handle. The discussion isn’t terrible if you can handle the nails on chalkboard pronunciation. Plus the recording quality is terrible, you have to crank up the volume and it’s still quiet and buzzy. In the end it’s j... more
Where have you boys been my whole life? Took about 5 minutes into yalls first ep to hook me, from yalls bumper music to just hearing the word tWoTcast, hearing yalls passion for the series, it’s great. I’m just now starting ep 4 but I’m really looking forward to hearing your description of what’s going on as y’all reread the series for the umpteenth time.
I was feeling very sad and crying on an airplane once. I wanted to stop, though, so I went to look for something to listen to take my mind off of it. Twotcast was perfect for this. It is so mind numbing, so stupid, so benignly unfunny that it just cauterizes not just all emotional activity, but brain activity as well.
This podcast is perfect.
This is amazing. I found you guys about a couple of months ago. I just finished tWoT after dark. I almost cried laughing at your fanfic reading. I will read the other books you guys do just to keep listening.
I started reading the books in high school and found this podcast shortly after. Currently on the last quarter of book 13 and this has brought to my attention so many neuances that I didn't pick up from just reading. Verry funny and I love their theories.
A frequently hilarious look at tWot. From the hilarity of "sword forms" names applied to... other situations, to Ebou Dar Beggar's Guild Field Day plans, to a running count of character nudity and Elayne's head trauma, Jono Joe and Tom have mostly light-hearted and always lively conversations about this great series. Seriously, though, make sure you've read the whole series first. Spoilers (obviously) abound.
Five stars don't seem like enough, so I nominated ya'll for a Hugo Award. Love the show. Keep up the good work.
This twot cast is the grool. As a manly man's man that isnt gay, i can honestly state that it makes me throb in the fullest sense.
Keep on popping my mind's cherry with these fantasy breakdowns.
We all know there are no endings but this was A great end to the series re-read! Now the twotcast new beginning! Bring it on boys. I will always have my fantasy of easing Mat's badger on the village green.
Perfect balance of humor and geeking out. Hope this cast continues in some form after they do new spring
Had to stop myself laughing out loud in public a fair few times!
I wait every week for new eps of this podcast. I'll be sad to see it go once they finish the last book. It greatly helped me to catch up for the final book and I don't know what I would do without this podcast to get me through work. Thanks guys!
You may or may not get any of these if you listen to this podcast... but what you will get is laugh out loud awesomeness.
I will miss listening at the end of the reread, but am all ready to enjoy your future projects *cough*PointSpeedNetBreak*cough*
Always entertaining but also informative. I never knew how much was hidden between the sheets... sorry....lines of this series. So much to learn and so little vodka - cheers boys
There is so much sexiness and hilarity loaded up into these podcasts that they are bursting at the seams. Not only are these guys as funny as an Aiel with glowsticks, and as insightful as a Brown Ajah Sister in a lecture, but their sexy voices blow my mind.
5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
