  • The most valuable creator-centric podcast out there

I’ve listened in the past when they had a few different hosts and that version of the show was good. Not great. I wasn’t compelled week after week to listen.

Well, It’s great now! Travis, along with Dan, Jenn, Tori, and Rob bring consistently excellent discussions about things facing creators to the forefront in each episode. I only started listening again in February 2026 and have just been binging episode after episode. No nonsense advice, thoughtful discussions, and interviews with YouTubers... more

  • I’m a Pro & This is My Go To

My full time career is as a content creator, where my podcast is the center of everything else I do. And TubeTalk is mandatory listening for me. It applies to my growing YouTube channel as well as my podcast and all of my content. Love Travis and the hosts, love the content, love the tips.

After listening to approximately one gazillion episodes over time, I finally came to do a review because I was reminded by Travis to do so in his call to action at the very moment I was parking my car - an... more

How Jared Owen Builds 3D Videos That Last
Q: What was your experience with monetization and making YouTube your full-time job?
Monetization came relatively quickly once I found videos that resonated; AdSense income became steadier over time, which allowed me to hire contractors and build a more predictable pipeline, though the income can still be volatile month to month.
How Jared Owen Builds 3D Videos That Last
Q: How do you decide what evergreen topics to pursue and rely on YouTube's suggestions rather than chasing trends?
I focus on content that answers lasting questions, like how things work in space or tech; I also monitor current events or big launches that cause spikes, and try to align content so YouTube can suggest it for long-term viewership.
How Jared Owen Builds 3D Videos That Last
Q: When you started, what drew you to 3D animation and Blender, and how did that shape your early success?
I was a hobbyist software developer who loved explaining how things work; Blender being free allowed me to learn without a big upfront cost, which enabled me to experiment, post early videos, and discover that people would watch well-made, educational 3D content.
How Dylan Built Millions Of Followers With Better Intros
Q: What was it like balancing school and early social media growth, and when did the switch to YouTube happen?
I started in high school, grew through TikTok during the pandemic, and only later leaned into YouTube as shorts on YouTube helped explode the channel; long-form became a focus after initial short-form success and occasional sponsorships.
How Dylan Built Millions Of Followers With Better Intros
Q: Tell us a little about who you are and what your channel is about.
I'm Dylan, 22, a full-time creator who started seriously in high school and found success first on TikTok with a repeatable storytelling format, then branched into YouTube with shorts and long-form content, using a mix of voiceover storytelling and idea-based concepts.
