  • Keep AI Out of Podcasts

AI voices on podcasts aren’t why I’m here. No, they’re not your “cohosts” it’s just AI slop.

  • Using AI voices to create episodes

If Nick continues to use AI voices for episodes I will completely stop listening. I listen to podcasts to hear real humans not some bad audio AI slop.

  • Good but…stay away from AI hosts

Good show, lots of good interviews in the past, but latest episode clearly is AI hosts. I have zero interest in listening to ai, will unsubscribe if it continues.

The content doesn’t matter if it was written by a human or a true story, this is just the road to slop.

  • Too many ads

I’ve been a listener for years.

I’ve noticed so many ads lately that have become annoying.

I can understand if you’re promoting your own events/products.

I feel this defeats the purpose of podcasting… connecting deeper with your audience.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

743: $1,000 a Month with Simple Vibe-Coded Apps
Q: Is it better to launch with a paywall or a free-to-download app first?
If possible, launch with a paywall during onboarding to ensure monetization is tested early; if that isn't feasible, you can launch free and add a paywall later, but time to market and distribution remain critical.
739: $5k in a Weekend Selling Other People’s Stuff
Q: Talk to me about some of the marketing relationships.
Realtors, assisted living partners, and house stagers are valuable referral sources, and we've built a network with clean-out companies and consignment specialists to bring in inventory and buyers.
734: From Zero to 35M Downloads
Q: How did you grow the audience over time?
Growth happened through a mix of compelling headlines, strategic guest appearances on other shows, and deliberate podcast SEO, plus reinvesting into audience development and email capture to convert listeners into subscribers.
734: From Zero to 35M Downloads
Q: What does a show look like today, from origin to present?
The show remains tactic-focused with a strong emphasis on practical steps, but the host highlights how the format has evolved to be more concise and punchy, with a sharper funnel and better lead magnets.
730: $1,000 a Month with Passive Digital Products
Q: How do you approach product research and niche selection before design?
The approach focuses on demand signals from Etsy and keyword tools, aiming for high search with low competition. The idea is to identify unicorns—ideas with strong demand and relatively few competitors—and then create templates around those opportunities.
