  • Using AI voices to create episodes

If Nick continues to use AI voices for episodes I will completely stop listening. I listen to podcasts to hear real humans not some bad audio AI slop.

  • Good but…stay away from AI hosts

Good show, lots of good interviews in the past, but latest episode clearly is AI hosts. I have zero interest in listening to ai, will unsubscribe if it continues.

The content doesn’t matter if it was written by a human or a true story, this is just the road to slop.

  • Too many ads

I’ve been a listener for years.

I’ve noticed so many ads lately that have become annoying.

I can understand if you’re promoting your own events/products.

I feel this defeats the purpose of podcasting… connecting deeper with your audience.

  • The concept of the show is great

But it has way too many ads and gives guru vibes.

  • Great podcast, but…

Great information, good guests. I just hate his Shopify ad. I am using headphones to listen to podcasts and he has these annoying loud sounds during the Shopify ad. Very jarring.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

730: $1,000 a Month with Passive Digital Products
Q: How do you approach product research and niche selection before design?
The approach focuses on demand signals from Etsy and keyword tools, aiming for high search with low competition. The idea is to identify unicorns—ideas with strong demand and relatively few competitors—and then create templates around those opportunities.
730: $1,000 a Month with Passive Digital Products
Q: What led you to Spring Cleaning Checklist as an opportunity?
Chelsea explains that a simple, high-demand need (helping households organize and clean) naturally translates into a low-effort, high-volume printable. The incremental, niche-specific angles—like ADHD-friendly or kids-focused versions—helped her capture focused buyer segments and validate the idea quickly.
729: $500,000 in Hamster Ball Sales? How a College Student Brought a New Product to Life
Q: What was the path to securing the first major retailer partner?
We pitched a deck covering costs, MOQs, marketing co-ops, and the innovation in the space; retailers were hungry for new pet products and we demonstrated a clear route to market, which helped us land a test order in the Southeast and then scale.
726: The $300/day Marketing Funnel: From Content to Cash Flow
Q: What's the role of live webinars in the funnel?
Live webinars are used to build trust, show thought process, and convert attendees into customers by providing value and answering questions in real time.
726: The $300/day Marketing Funnel: From Content to Cash Flow
Q: How do you handle risk and refunds in your offers?
Offer a 30-day money-back guarantee to reduce buyer risk and maintain ethical selling — refunds have happened, but the structure minimizes friction for buyers.
