  • Love the content, bad audio though

I wish I could’ve found a way to contact Chris privately but this is the only avenue I can find. His guest audio in recent episodes is great and loud but his microphone audio is waaaaaay too low. Have to blast the podcast to hear him clearly but then the guest’s voice is way too loud.

  • Accusing people of racism isn’t in good faith

Chris lives in North Texas which has recently seen mass migration that has completely changed the demographics of some towns. Instead of acknowledging the very real changes he went on X to hurl accusations of racism to anyone who has concerns about rapid demographic change.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

From DoorDash to $81K/M With This Overlooked Business - Ep. #332
Q: What does a typical sales follow-up look like and how important is response speed?
Response speed is critical; we practice relentless follow-up across multiple touches. About 70% of leads are contacted, with roughly 20-25% of those leads closing after conversations. It takes many touches—often weeks—to move a lead to a sale, especially for high-ticket installations.
From DoorDash to $81K/M With This Overlooked Business - Ep. #332
Q: What channels have you used to acquire customers, and how has that evolved?
Initial campaigns used broad geo targeting with static image ads focused on price and value rather than education. Facebook ads performed well with leads, and we plan to expand to Google and VSL-based funnels later. We emphasize fast follow-up through text and calls, with automation handling initial outreach and then human agents following up.
From DoorDash to $81K/M With This Overlooked Business - Ep. #332
Q: So, how did you land on that $2,700 price point for the flagship system?
The price point came from targeting a balance between margin and volume. I aimed for roughly $1,000 net margin per install, with room to use promos and bulk discounts. If the price proves profitable with a growing reputation, we can raise later. The goal was to maximize volume while keeping a healthy cushion for promotions and operations.
The Most Hands-Off $6K/Month Side Hustle to Start - Ep. #330
Q: What is the current structure of overhead and profitability?
Overhead runs around $2,000–$2,500 per month including insurance on trailers and the lot; after revenue of $5,500–$7,500, net profit sits near $4,000 per month, with only a few hours per week of active work.
The Most Hands-Off $6K/Month Side Hustle to Start - Ep. #330
Q: What were the key phases in building the system?
Phase 1 was meeting customers manually at the yard, Phase 2 introduced lock boxes and a clearer pickup process, and Phase 3 moved to a dedicated NewYard with designated spots, locks, and a fully automated booking and pickup flow.
