  • TP is LIT!

I'm a raving fan of Touchpoint and have been for close to two years. I listen to the episodes religiously, have engaged with the hosts who continue to churn out really rich/dynmaic content. As a healthcare marketing professional, having a resource and repository of topics and discussions hitting on key and current areas of focus, is invaluable. Chris and Reed are two of the top thought leaders in the industry, IMO.

  • Entertaining Experts

Reed and Chris perfectly explain the ‘why’ behind what makes working in Healthcare the most rewarding career in the world. As a designer in the healthcare space, it can be hard to find valuable resources or references to help inspire. Most ‘design inspiration’ is about lofty artwork or overcomplicated compositions that don’t fit in our industry. These two really lay out what’s important to the digital space in healthcare and how achievable it is.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

TP502 - Don't Write Toward the Machine
Q: How should organizations start thinking about integrating AI into their content workflows?
Begin with a full mapping of the content production process, identify steps that require human judgment, and then determine where AI can meaningfully assist (e.g., scheduling, transcription, theme extraction) while preserving quality and clinical accuracy.
TP499 - The Experience Ends When the Bill Begins
Q: What are you working on now and what should people be paying attention to?
Cassandra emphasizes reducing friction between providers and payers, improving transparency, and using responsible AI to support patient experiences, with a focus on advocacy that centers the patient while maintaining governance and accountability in technology.
TP499 - The Experience Ends When the Bill Begins
Q: What does the RevCycle side understand about a patient that the clinical side rarely sees?
She explains that clinical care and revenue cycle share the same patient story but view it through different lenses; the financial journey intersects with care decisions, and understanding benefits, coverage, and affordability can significantly impact outcomes and access to care.
TP499 - The Experience Ends When the Bill Begins
Q: But before we do, I would love for you to share a little bit about yourself so that others listening in, they may know a little bit more about you.
Cassandra Skinner describes her 20-year trajectory through pain management, ambulatory billing, and revenue cycle, culminating in a role in healthcare IT with Xsolis where she helps facilities with operations support and strategy, bringing a back-end RevCycle perspective to patient advocacy.
TP498 - Nobody's Patient
Q: Is there a generational difference in expectations for healthcare websites and digital experiences?
Yes, with Gen Z showing higher expectations and less tolerance for complexity, while Boomers are still strong users of digital tools; improvements to websites are seen as key to future engagement across both groups.
