  • TP is LIT!

I'm a raving fan of Touchpoint and have been for close to two years. I listen to the episodes religiously, have engaged with the hosts who continue to churn out really rich/dynmaic content. As a healthcare marketing professional, having a resource and repository of topics and discussions hitting on key and current areas of focus, is invaluable. Chris and Reed are two of the top thought leaders in the industry, IMO.

  • Entertaining Experts

Reed and Chris perfectly explain the ‘why’ behind what makes working in Healthcare the most rewarding career in the world. As a designer in the healthcare space, it can be hard to find valuable resources or references to help inspire. Most ‘design inspiration’ is about lofty artwork or overcomplicated compositions that don’t fit in our industry. These two really lay out what’s important to the digital space in healthcare and how achievable it is.

TP467: ICYMI: SEO is Like Golf Now
Q: What has Carrie observed about Google's announcements and the direction of search in healthcare?
She highlights how Google has accelerated changes with AI overviews and AI mode, shifting the information landscape so patients can get answers directly from search results, which may reduce the need to visit healthcare websites for initial research.
TP463: The Three Course Leftovers Episode
Q: How are you approaching the safety and governance of custom GPTs in healthcare?
Safeguards center on human-in-the-loop processes, strict handling of source material, not training the model on sensitive data, and ensuring the client maintains control with clear rules and compliance checks.
TP463: The Three Course Leftovers Episode
Q: What high level trends do you see in how health systems are embracing AI for content strategy?
The main trends are personalization, content atomization to create reusable pieces, and using AI to support but not replace human writers; the focus is on maintaining brand voice and driving efficiency while considering SEO and governance.
TP484: The Channels the Model Can't See
Q: How has first-party data changed the attribution landscape for healthcare?
Consolidating into a single, first-party data platform enables more credible multi-touch attribution, reduces reliance on disparate trackers, and helps marketing teams prove value to leadership by showing how campaigns influence actual patient visits and downstream revenue.
TP484: The Channels the Model Can't See
Q: What is the core attribution gap healthcare marketers face today?
Marketers recognize data drives decisions, but they struggle to connect spend to outcomes because patient journeys are complex, many influence points are invisible, and traditional dashboards miss critical channels like physician referrals and offline interactions.
