It’s so nice to see a podcast cover genre fiction in such great depth! The host is funny and well-spoken and the interviews are so insightful. Would recommend to book lovers everywhere!
I followed this initially because I have been a fan of host Drew Broussard's work on another podcast, So Many Damn Books. But hearing him interview both authors that I've heard of and ones new to me was really great here, and so I stuck around. It's been great learning about new speculative fiction titles to try out, and some of the authors who've been new to me initially have now become favorites. Very much looking forward to the new season 3. ^_^
This show has great energy. Genuine, fun, thoughtful author interviews, with little thematic segments curated for each ep - something a little different from other literary podcasts. Highly recommend!
I made this podcast! And I made it because I wanted to share amazing conversations, the coolest authors, and special guest thinkers who will turn your ideas of genre on their head. Or explode them. Or mash ‘em up into a great big ball of… genre.
Anyway. I’m proud of the show and think it sounds great!
