  • Fresh Take on Liberty

An insightful new view in the space of liberty-oriented podcasts. First heard Tom Mullen on the Tom Woods show, was intrigued, and started listening. Glad I did. Tom mixes his episodes between current events and historical context. As I write this review we are in the midst of the Russo-Ukraine war. Tom had a take on the propaganda for that war that I’ve heard nowhere else. Give this podcast a chance. I think you will be as engaged as I am.

  • Engaging and fresh.

I quite enjoy the show. The subject matter could be inconceivably dull in the wrong hands, but thankfully Tom has some rhetorical tricks up his sleeve. Get new bumper music though.

Episode 223 Iran Won't Go Quietly with Col. Douglas Macgregor
Q: There's so many questions that the action in Iran raises. So I kind of want to go and order at least the way I would think about them, which the first thing is the timing.
Macgregor argues that the push toward war stems from political pressures and lobbying rather than a clear strategic necessity, emphasizing the need for careful assessment and patience rather than rushing in.
