i do like this podcast most of the time. The hosts are sometimes hit and miss. I enjoy Anthony the most. Except when he goes on his crazy politcs rants. Julia seems very nice but she is way to wholesome. I had a amish friend and she reminds me of him alot. Thom is so annoying. He looks so hard to be offended at something. Its nice when he takes a week off. I have discovered some christmas movies i did not know about.
I love revisiting Christmas favorites and learning about new movies or tv episodes/specials with the “elves”. I look forward to a new episode every Monday and have even found myself going back to older ones during the week. Despite your claim of being the most under researched podcast, I always find myself learning something. Such a feel good, fun podcast
I have am fairly new to this Podcast. I have been catching up from 2017 and have been loving the chemistry between our 3 elves and hearing the development of their relationships. I appreciate the indepth BIAS opinions on the movies, tv shows, etc. Love the spinoff with Julia and Anthony. Also, the BEST most memorable episode so far is from 7/2019: "Now That's What I Call A Tis The Podcast Christmas: Volume 1" episode.
Also, I appreciate the branching out to other genres andall the extra content ... more
The older we all get the faster the Christmas season seems to go. Listening to the podcast seems to kick the Christmas cheer into me a bit earlier as well as prolong it after the big day comes. The hosts have a great rapport and the guests they bring in are always great. They sprinkle in some thanksgiving and Halloween stuff throughout the season as well for a nice change up. Even the “bottom of the barrel” Christmas movies usually bring up some laughs and the hosts find some hidden gems past th... more
I love the dynamic of the three hosts and am amazed at how well they interact, even after 5 years. Their dialogue, their personalities, and their different viewpoints make the shows so entertaining. I mean Julia is sitll the best elf, but Thom and Anthony have their moments. Also, looking forward to Anthony's next book, so they can have another chapter read each episode. Keep up the good work and know that you are spreading Christmas cheer throughout the whole year.
