First off, Through the Palantir is still not dead.
You may recall how in my last episode I spoke of moving to a new hosting service so that getting backed up etc. would not happen again?
Oh Irony, you are cruel.
Liberated Syndication has pro... more
It's been a while and a lot has happened. But I am back once again, because the uncomfortable stillness just doesn't stick to Through the Palantir. This is not a standard episode, but it's hardly a standard podcast to begin with so we'll let it slide... more
Another Episode has landed, Happy July of the Fourthing and Canada Day since this was in the final stage of editing when those holidays occurred. Anyway, the news is light this time around but we still manage to fill plenty with loads of Bloopers, Ro... more
On this episode of Through the Palantir: Wargs! Fur everywhere! It's a whole pack! They just keep coming from the shadows! Also, discussion of how Update 11 has turned out, what it has brought and what has excited and what fell flat, and then our glo... more
One month late but finally here, it is the Reaver Roundtable. Thrill as old news is revealed and speculation is made on updates that have already come to pass! Be amazed as your host demonstrates his ability to ramble once again! Be enraptured by the... more
Despite Delays, Through the Palantir is back with another episode and another Roundtable. This time around we discuss Update 10.1 bring on a whole crew of Defilers to spread their spores and salves, and of course, talk about plenty more news so sit b... more

Well I'm gonna keep this short and to the point. I've been spending the last two days trying, and failing, to upload Episode 41, which has the Black Arrow Roundtable. I don't know what's going wrong, but the upload just keeps failing. I've reinstalle... more
TTP is one of my favourite MMO-related podcasts. It covers LOTRO PVMP as its main focus, something that most of the other LOTRO podcasts do not. Although irregular in schedule, TTP roughly matches Turbine's rate of change to the PVMP scene, which is also irregular. As such, TTP can be counted on to relay and breakdown information for the casual PVMP-er.
Thanks again Ivaneus!
P.S. Play more creeps besides Warleaders :P
Ugmog knows his stuff and is very informative...really love the roundtables..keep up the good work..TWH for eveh !!!...Torak
Ivan provides a thorough analysis of pvping (aka Moors play) and lots of end game content in his own inimmitable and unique fashion. Fully enjoyable :)
I don't have a character creep side but I still love the podcast. And think all lotro players should listen to it. Thanks guys and keep up the good work I only wish they came out more frequently ! Thanks again! Delagosh of windfola
Too many people talking, no topic clearly expressed, everyone interrupting each other, and hardly a complete sentence in the first 5 minutes. This might be fun if you're in the room, and know the guys, but listening was just torture.
I subscribed to this cast a while back because I've got several 60-65 characters and haven't touched endgame/PvMP content. I just listened to the Pirates of Ecuador cast and decided that I'm unsubscribing to your podcast, but I want to explain to you why.
In increasing order of importance:
1. Lose the background music. It could not be more annoying and distracting.
2. Your jokes are (occasionally) funny, but they need to be one and done. Don't waste everyone's time with 5 minutes of exten... more
I've tried to listen to this podcast a number of times. Episode 7 was the worst waste of time. At least 2 of the 3 speakers were also trying to particpate in a Raid. Please desist. Do one or the other. You guys obviously can not multitask.
Small digressions from the topic are understandable, but, not to the extent it was happening in this episode. Have a script, and stick to it. 3 hours? You have to be kidding! I know you had some technical difficulties, but, without the Raid, and with... more
Hey guys I really love the show! Keep up the good work!
