  • Too much intro, not enough content

The intro and outright combined make up about 1/3 of each episode. If there were more content about each song, it might be worth sitting through over one minute worth open and close for each 3-minute episode.

Whether a given song is one I’m already familiar with or one I’ve never heard of before (e.g., Janis Joplin’s “Half Moon”), I learn something new. • If you’ve ever googled a song...

If you’ve ever googled a song to find out more about why it was written or its backstory, then you’ll love this podcast. Perfect for a short midday break or play the episodes back to back. Very cool factoids about the songs you love.
