Jesse is never wrong!
Love the effort and production of these podcasts but the narrator tries a bit too hard to be funny. Not sure who he is but he seems too young to have been in these places he narrates. Let Steve Parrish do it. This dude is a tool.
This is my favorite podcast by far. Jesse speaks with enthusiasm, authority and playfulness. I learn things from every episode, and no I really love when he isolates the tracks so you can just hear Weir, the harmonies, Billy, …etc.
I’ve been on the bus for 40+ years, have read most of the books out there…and still find golden nuggets in every episode. I’ve even gone back and registered to some of the early years.
I only wish…new episodes were more frequent.

Dream podcast for deadheads who love to “go long” on dead lore. I eat up every episode!!!
The content is so excellent, particularly the deep dives into tracks when instruments are isolated - but the engineering is far below GD standard. Specifically there are big volume changes when there are edits between the host, music and/or one of the band members talking.
