  • Poor poor interviewing skills

Please write out your questions before you start recording your podcast with guests, so that you can actually ask questions of them instead of chasing rabbits and giving speeches yourself. Take your role of podcast interviewer more serious. If you want your own show- create one. But if your role is to interview others—think ahead to write out and ask serious insightful questions—then shut up. If you do this, the quality, value and reach of this podcast show will improve greatly.

  • If I could only listen to one podcast for the rest of my life

Though I’ve only been listening for a couple of months, this podcast has been so precious to me. Regardless of your beliefs, theology, or denominational leanings, give it a fair listen.

And no episode better to start with than the current episode at the time of this writing, Episode 158:

“In Episode 158 of Theology In Particular, Dr. Joshua Henson joins me to discuss the Old Testament prophets and their message to Israel and the nations.”
