  • Absolutely life-giving

If you give this podcast a chance, you will find that the theological perspective presented here is one which starts and ends with Christ as He is revealed in the entire text of Scripture, in all of its beautiful context - as you allow it to draw you out of yourself and into scripture, you will invariably find that a new life in Christ is invariably on offer. After all, the Bible is the very words of the living God!

I've enjoyed the book of Daniel study very much. My wife and I have been reforming over the last several years and at the end of 2022, we left the SBC for the PCA. I've been listening to RF for the last couple years and have learned a lot. Thanks

Jonathan Master | The History of Special Revelation: Geerhardus Vos and Reformed Biblical Theology
Q: How does Vos balance confessional fidelity with biblical-theological methodology?
Vos maintained strict confessional commitments while applying Biblical Theology to interpret Scripture in context, showing how the creeds and confessions anchor the discipline, and how his approach both informs and is informed by systematic theology rather than replacing it.
Jonathan Master | The History of Special Revelation: Geerhardus Vos and Reformed Biblical Theology
Q: What are Vos's main contributions to Biblical Theology as a discipline?
Vos helped inaugurate Biblical Theology as a historical, redemptive-chronological study of Scripture, emphasizing the Bible as a unity progressing through redemptive history rather than a collection of isolated doctrines, and grounding it in confessional commitments while interacting with leading contemporaries like Warfield.
