  • A godsend for the weird world of wedding vendors

This is the exact podcast we wedding photographers didn't know we needed. The wedding podcast world is saturated with boss babe energy and posturing educational influencers, which is all fine and dandy, but the space Mike and Lauren have created together is totally unique, so breathtaking and unapologetically real. Our job can be crazy and for creative solopreneurs, it's so comforting to have so many of our experiences reflected back to you with humor, wit and intelligence. As far as the naysaye... more

  • I love you two!! love Canada!

So I stumbled across your podcast about four months ago from a local make up artist. I am a local photographer here over the boarder for the last 18 years and have never listed to pod casts! I started to pick up running again to clear my busy photography brain. I have listened to your pod cast on every run.. starting back at the beginning and now I cannot live without your banter and humour. Thank you for helping me enjoy my exercise and helping clear my mind during my busy season! Please never... more

  • Not a wedding vendor, but really enjoy the pod!

I’m not the target demographic for TVT, but as a bride planning a wedding, it’s given me some insight as to what various vendors do and how they may feel about certain trends. Makes me a little more confident in speaking with vendors as well, so I know how to say what I want to say without being a jerk.

My only note for the pod (please don’t hate me Lauren!) is that the ad volumes are inconsistent. Sometimes I can’t hear if they’re still speaking doing the regular pod and sometimes I have to r... more
