Ty does a great job in taking medical journal-level scientific evidence and explaining it to the layperson in ways that are easy to comprehend. Very informative and interesting, and I’m enjoying making adjustments to my own life based on the science!
Dr. Beal invites us to the table to hear experts and researchers who have their fingers on the pulse of nutrition. The focus is not on unsupported opinion, but on evidence based, newly emerging information we can apply to supporting our own health. The podcast is a clear signal in a culture confused by food.
Best nutrition podcast I’ve listened to in a long time. I’ve really been enjoying learning more about UPFs, regenerative ag, eating disorders and a lot more. Many of us are trying to topple silos in global nutrition, and listening to diverse expert views (including some we won’t agree with!) while on a daycare run or fixing dinner is a great step towards that goal. It’s also accessible, practical, and super interesting - give it a listen!
The TBS does an amazing job of translating difficult, academic, and often overhyped nutrition research into clear, accessible insights. It moves the conversation out of small expert circles and brings it to the everyday listener. Love the podcast!!
