The plot was really intriguing, but the dialogue was terrible. Both in writing and delivery. I found myself cringing multiple times per episode at awkward dialogue and voice acting.
Stilted writing and every character sounds like a 19-year old. I gave up after 2 episodes.
The creator self professes in the epilouge episode that shes not a very good writer and unfortunately it shows. The series is very passable and it's definately not horrible, its middle of the road. If you like serialized fiction and are a fan of slightly creepy things, give it a listen.
Listened to the entire first season on a flight.
Epilogue was actually my favorite episode. Good job D!
The voice acting is very contrived and the story line would be fine if the female actor wasn't so over the top in her descriptions and her use of over the top voice inflections. This girl goes from meek to cocky in the same sentence and goes from valley girl to jersey girl in the same sentence. The FBI daddy is just too much! 😂 As if anyone in the FBI would be just looking up all manner of nonsense for his kid and retired at that!
