Adal Rifai, Erin Keif and John Patrick Coan, three of Chicago's most overrated improvisers, are on the case to solve every riddle, puzzle, brain-teaser, and head-scratcher known to humanity. Some riddles are almost impossible, some are absolutely improbable, and some simply have not aged well. And if you don't like riddles, don't worry! This podcast is barely about th... more

Stopped listening in the 200s after starting from the beginning, but Adal’s violent atheism was a little too much. Every time religion is mentioned, it was a huge turn off to hear how much he didn’t believe in it. One more “Hand to God- who doesn’t exist” and I was over it.
Jeni's brambleberry crisp IS the best ice cream ever. Find This, and other such recommendations, interwoven with occasional riddles and improvised scenes.
I started listening to this podcast before I met my husband. I was on my way to a weird hike and thought I’d "exercise my brain. It’s several years later, and I’ve dabbled so deep into riddles, improvisation and the DnD lifestyle the hosts have advertised, I can no longer open doors without answering three riddles or open packages without making it a lateral thinking problem. My husband says I need to let go, he says “you can just open the door, the kids need to go to daycare!” in frustration, b... more
Accidentally pavloved myself and now I can’t fall asleep with out these three screaming in my ears. My girlfriend is less than thrilled but I warned her before we moved in together what the deal was. Anyways fantastic podcast but be careful this show might fundamentally rewire your brain.
Can't wait for season 3! 204 episodes a season seems long but if you go back to episode one and listen all the way through you can really tell they came into this with a detailed road map

This show blends improv, pop culture, and brainteasers into a fast-paced, personality-driven format. Three Chicago-based improvisers host playful banter, solve riddles, and stage quick character-driven scenes, frequently weaving in guests, fan-submitted bits, and light commentary on movies, TV, and everyday life. The mix of witty wordplay, audience participation via riddles, and recurring ads/promotions creates a reliably entertaining if sometimes chaotic listening experience that rewards attention to detail and a sense of humor about the hosts' own dynamics. A standout aspect is the long-running, collaborative chemistry among the trio, plus the habit of bringing in guests and topical tangents, which keeps episodes feeling fresh even when r... more
