  • A Must Listen

As a parent of a child with Type 1 Diabetes, this is so shocking to me. What these people have done is beyond negligence . Managing T1D requires vigilance, education, and compassion. To see such blatant disregard for Elizabeth’s safety and medical care is so disturbing. Thank you for bringing going this case to light, people need to be educated!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

7. Child Safety Failure
Q: What will you be alleging were the government failures here?
We have alleged that there was a known risk. The risk was very high. Elizabeth was an extremely vulnerable child.
7. Child Safety Failure
Q: How does the department not follow up after that, when these two parents have already been charged for failing to get their daughter the care she needed?
That's a really good question. I wish I could answer it, and I think that if we had the answer to that, Elizabeth would still be with us today.
7. Child Safety Failure
Q: What was your initial reaction when you heard about the Elizabeth Struhs case?
Personally, I was disgusted as a parent and a grandparent that anything like this could remotely happen.
3. Critical Warnings Ignored
Q: What do you think might have happened if she wasn't taken to hospital the first time?
The individual believed Elizabeth would have gotten better without any medical assistance and was confident in God's healing.
