After hours of listening will go away from this podcast having learned many details. There are the usual interviews with random neighbours (“such a nice quiet street”), long-forgotten school mates (“never thought he’d do this”) and chase interviews (which, despite the host’s attempts to justify them, only exist to provide racy footage for TV, and lose much of their impact in audio-only). In episode 6, there’s an interview with a criminologist, who’s treated as an expert on cult crimes. She’s not... more
What a well made podcast about such a heartbreaking story. Elizabeth deserved so much better, I hope her sister is able to get some sort of justice in her honour.
UPDATE: I’ve just listened to season 2, and what a ride! I don’t see the correlation between the 2 seasons, but it was great regardless. The only drawback being that the sound dropped out occasionally, which totally defeats the purpose.

I was listening to the saints and loved it and now when I click on that podcast, it’s gone and it only pulls up terror at Bondi. Any help?
As a parent of a child with Type 1 Diabetes, this is so shocking to me. What these people have done is beyond negligence . Managing T1D requires vigilance, education, and compassion. To see such blatant disregard for Elizabeth’s safety and medical care is so disturbing. Thank you for bringing going this case to light, people need to be educated!

The series investigates a tragic case where a young girl did not receive life-saving medical care due to faith-based decisions, exposing how religious extremism and group dynamics can lead to devastating outcomes. Through investigative reporting, exclusive interviews, and police material, it examines the forces that allow dangerous beliefs to influence family decisions, accountability, and community responses. Across episodes, the show weaves personal testimonies with expert analysis to illuminate systemic issues around belief, control, and harm, while keeping the story grounded in the human toll and the quest for justice.
A standout aspect is the journalist's access to firsthand accounts and court-like examinations that probe beyond surfa... more
