  • This Show is Important

Rob’s insights into local and state government are invaluable. Indiana residents would never know much of what is discussed on this program because local media won’t report on it. If you are looking for an outlet that discusses both side of an argument and hates both parties equally then look no further. You’ve found it here!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

7/28/26 - Shelton fires back at Engling, Hicks on Bears stadium, Fauci caught on COVID origin
Q: Tell us about the Bears Stadium economics and what Hicks thinks about the revenue and jobs it would generate.
Hicks argues that subsidies for stadiums mostly relocate activity rather than create substantial new economic output, diminishing true net gains for the region and potentially diverting funds from other critical infrastructure and services.
7/22/26 - Liz Brown Attorney on election victory, $37.5 billion Iran War, IURC finalist
Q: What distinguishes a recount from a contest in Indiana elections, and why might a party choose one path over the other?
Schwartz explains that a recount retabulates votes to confirm the tally, while a contest alleges irregularities or fraud and requires a more specific, law-driven pleading; choosing the path depends on the perceived strength of the irregularities and strategic considerations.
7/22/26 - Liz Brown Attorney on election victory, $37.5 billion Iran War, IURC finalist
Q: How did you decide to take on the Liz Brown recount case and what was the team process like?
Grant Schwartz explains that they assembled a small team of experienced Republican attorneys, developed a plan, and worked with colleagues to handle both the recount and contest components, while ensuring they had credible strategy and leadership.
7/16/26 - Carter on Noel investigation, Utility profits investigated, Braun ends race preferences
Q: How did the Noel investigation begin and evolve according to your account?
Carter explains that the investigation started from actionable information and expanded as more evidence appeared, with a focus on protecting witnesses and avoiding overreach while pursuing legitimate leads.
7/2/26 - Braun's creative office funding, Blythe backs Bayh, Indy approves data center rules
Q: What did Blythe Potter think about the left rallying behind Bo Bai?
She indicated the left is open to engaging with Bai but remains cautious, emphasizing that the party's internal dynamics and strategic considerations could influence how broadly they support him.
