  • This Show is Important

Rob’s insights into local and state government are invaluable. Indiana residents would never know much of what is discussed on this program because local media won’t report on it. If you are looking for an outlet that discusses both side of an argument and hates both parties equally then look no further. You’ve found it here!

I am glad to see Rob has his own show. Love him or hate him , he was the Kendall and Casey show. I am looking for a great future for him without that station ( since he can’t be named. )

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

4/1/26 - Birthright Citizenship Debate, A Historic Day at the Supreme Court, Indiana’s $16 Billion Caregiving Crisis
Q: Why are you running for Secretary of State?
I am a native Hoosier with a long record of service and a frustration with how the office is mismanaged; I want to bring integrity, modernize the website, and restore trust in elections while serving Indiana businesses.
3/25/26 - Statehouse Happenings: Senate District Heads to Court, Local Income Tax Chaos, Budget Drama
Q: What happened at the Senate District 38 hearing and why is it significant for ballot eligibility?
The guests explain the dispute over whether the candidate pled guilty to a felony or a misdemeanor, how that impacts eligibility and ballot status, and the legal reasoning the courts used to keep the candidate on the ballot, while noting the broader questions about how plea details should influence elections.
3/25/26 - Trump Endorsements Shake Indiana Politics, Indiana Utility Bill Shock, Braun Gas Tax Questions
Q: What is the host's view on Trump's Indiana endorsements affecting local races?
The host argues that endorsements from national figures like Trump are not grounded in Indiana-specific realities and can distort local campaigns by tying candidates to a national brand rather than local issues, ultimately harming voters who rely on local accountability.
3/10/26 - Toll for I-70, Ivy Tech President can't Manage Money, Ballard Campaign Nathan Gotsch
Q: Why did Nathan Gotsch decide to join the Ballard Campaign for Secretary of State?
Gotsch explains that Independent Indiana identified a growing appetite for independents, polled favorable numbers for Ballard, and conversations with Ballard supporters led him to join as an advisor to help build ballot access and campaign infrastructure.
3/16/26 - No Opposition to Braun's $6.5B tax hike, Reps nervous about losing Senate, Spangle is Guest
Q: What is the main concern with the governor's tolling plan?
The host argues it is a predatory tax that hits middle-class and working Hoosiers, with no adequate accountability or proven road improvements, and accuses Republicans of prioritizing pet projects over real needs.
