Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Running Out Of Gas
Q: Were the substitutions well-timed or misguided?
The group largely felt the substitutions were pre-planned and not sufficiently reactive to the opponents' changes, which dimmed the effectiveness of the changes and allowed the game to slip away.
Running Out Of Gas
Q: What did you think about the team's performance in the second half?
The second half was characterized by a loss of focus and a failure to press and convert chances, leading to a momentum shift that Bristol Rovers exploited for two late goals.
Kieran Maguire - The Price Of Crewe Alexandra
Q: What would good news look like in the year's accounts?
If losses could be maintained and there were no significant financial downturns, that would be seen as a positive outcome for Crewe in the next accounts.
Kieran Maguire - The Price Of Crewe Alexandra
Q: How attractive of a prospect would you consider Crewe Alex to be?
Crewe has heritage, geographical benefits, and an established history, making it an attractive option for potential investors, but much depends on the pricing and terms of sale.
Kieran Maguire - The Price Of Crewe Alexandra
Q: What was the first thing that jumped out to you when you were looking through them?
Crewe Alexandra lost over a million pounds in League Two, showing a dependency on owner financing and raising concerns about their financial stability if that support were to dip.
